Video Transcript
Eric just started a new painting. It depicts the 13th station of the cross.
Eric Armusik: A blank slate — I've got the very beginnings of a painting. I'm thinking about the Blessed Mother looking up at her Son, and I don't wanna just think about it as an idealized moment.
That would be a horrible moment for any mother. The deepest love, the deepest need to want to give consolation when she couldn't. That deep sorrow — it's almost just gut-churning, it's so upsetting. But it really shows the sacrifice that she gave, as well as His.
